At St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Monte Vista, CO we believe the Bible. We believe that the Bible teaches Justification as the chief doctrine of the Scriptures. Salvation is a free gift from God which is given by Faith. It is not a work of man by his will. It is God’s work.

As Christians, we are given Faith. Through this gift we can love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. This means helping our neighbor and putting the best construction on all things.
